Came out the year I graduated, it's my favorite Rush song. Neil Peart is amazing.

Sprawling on the fringes of the city
In geometric order
An insulated border
In between the bright lights
And the far unlit unknown...
 
Growing up it all seems so one-sided
Opinions all provided
The future pre-decided
Detached and subdivided
In the mass production zone

Or the misfit so alone

  1. f'kin a elbro.rush is definetely one of my favorite bands.neil peart is not a drummer he's the best percussionist? on the planet and he's in his 50's.i've seen them several times on vh1 classic. i have had the chance to nissan pavillion for $150.not $150.i've seen iron maiden for $100 at marryweather post pavillion.never again.my favorite song is tom sawyer

  7. Great song, great lyrics.
    My two faves are Trees and Closer to the Heart.
    Saw them twice and they put on a good, but LONG show. Geddy Lee can wail.
