Can you believe this painting sold for over $9 million. I'm breaking out the ruler and a pen.

  1. More money than sense. I have never understood "fine art". And the Morons that buy some of that ugly crap. What's next. "feces in a snow storm ". I'll just eat a bunch of spinach, and just give it a toss.........And call myself. Hu flung doo. Rofl. Riff

  3. I've printed out some of Duggie's art, framed it and hung it in my bathroom.

  5. Can you imagine Morgan...$9 million...I would have printed it at Kinkos and framed it for half that.

  6. We just bought a painting by the "painter of light", I forget his name. It's beautiful, and it cost a thousand times less. Go figure.

  7. No wonder you and Mr Z like each other so much...he brought this exact painting to my attention, too.
I like some contemporary "ART", but this isn't it.......this just pushed the envelope for other artists...that's all. THAT MUCH MONEY. Emperor's new Clothes.

  11. sure does Mr. Beamish...btw Dervish gave you a mouthful. I say go give it back.

Z - so you're saying Mr. Z. is not into modern art?

Morgan...I can't imagine what possessed someone to pay such and exhorbitant amount for what looks like a crossword puzzle gone awry.

  16. My dog could do that twice with one paw tied behind his back and his eyes closed while humping that fake artist's leg.

  17. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  18. Ahh, but you don't realize. Half the price is in the framing. So it is a bargain. A friend of mine can't sell color portraits in oil pastel for more than $200. I will not show him this... he owns guns and is willing to use them.
