  1. Very impressive last 3 games for The Steelers.

If they didn't reverse the call, does Tomlin go for the win or tie? Would've loved to have seen that. I'm guessing he goes for it.

  2. I agreed with the refs turning this one over. People were complaining all night about it but it was the right decision in the end in my opinion. My Chiefs managed to give away a comfortable lead in the last few minutes as they have been doing all year. It's a bad year for us Chiefs fans but I'm glad things are working out for you in Steeltown.

  3. I think he would have gone for the tie.

  4. How about the 4th and 1-1/2 they gave em in the 2nd quarter that resulted in a FG? Refs sucked in that one - they came out after the game and said the ball broke the goal - not just that his feet were in - cos they knew they totally blew it and were covering their butts. Baltimore was cheated out of a possible division/bye week and home playoff game.

  6. Well who didn't what?

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/12/15 @ 10:41 AM — (Reply)

  7. I think the stupid refs looked at his feet being in and thought that equalled TD - like it would have if he had been in the back of the end zone. Ball clearly never broke the line.

  8. I goofed...I'd like to say that I feel for you Dugg...but I can't

  9. That's cool - if their is any justice left - we'll meet again in the playoffs. Just a shame if we do it will be there now.

  11. Not even on my ass.

  12. Dugg -- what game were you watching. The ball only has to break the lane of the front of the line and not make it past the entire line. The replays clearly show that the ball did break the plane of the front of the line.

  13. on nfl.com it's clear and the commentators seem convinced

  14. The halftime show on Monday night had a segment called - Were the Ravens robbed? They didn't seem too convinced.
But F-it. I'm over it. Just gives me reason to hate em more.

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/12/15 @ 06:42 PM — (Reply)

  15. MNF's multiple angle replays only made it more clear that it was a TD.

  16. Sorry about the Chiefs there PF but I lived in San Diego for over 10 years they're sort of my second favorite team

  17. A thought Dugg. It's possible that the Ravens lost. Wah Wah Wah.

  18. I just heard GREAT news! Carl Peterson will be retiring as the GM of the Chiefs at the end of the year. We here in Kansas City having been anxiously awaiting the end of the reign of King Carl. Maybe we'll have a chance at improvement next year. I wish that we could get Bill Cowher to be our next GM.

  22. Hey - even if we lose out on the playoffs completely - I'll cherish that ass thumpin of the Eagles and benching of McNabbit. Hopefully the Beagles miss out by one game and Reid gets fired. Mwhahahaha

  25. The Video shows the ball coming to the line But that the ball doesnt have to cross over the goal to count ? Is this a First in Modern Football scoring ?

    Comment by jim— 2008/12/16 @ 04:09 AM — (Reply)

  26. I dont think it is At All ! I recall in the Olden Days that if the ball didnt make it over the line then it could sit there all day or until 4 downs of Trying had passed

  27. I rest my case. Squeelers=suckage

    Comment by Dugg— 2008/12/16 @ 05:25 AM — (Reply)

  28. It was a PASS. Both feet were in the end zone at the time of the catch. End of story.

  29. Thanks for visiting my blog and for the kind comments. Unfortunately, I grew up in Steeler country, still live in Steeler country (sort of) and have despised them all my life. Lucky for me I got to watch my Eagles butt rape Roethlisberger for 4 quarters this year.

  30. Tim, I realize not everyone can be a Steelers fan...nobody's perfect BUT you and Barry G. would get along he's an Eagles lunatic also
