On the Turntable - Alison Krauss and Union Station
This song was originally a number one performed by The Foundations in 1967
and Alison Krauss covered it on this album.
I love both versions. I've been working on the version by Alison. I love the walking bass line at the beginning and the chord progressions aren't difficult. I haven't been able to find the tab for the solo, but I'm working on it.

Pinky, Z, she does have an angelic voice.
FJ, I have a fiddle too, but haven't spent much time learning it yet.
MOS - I think they're and odd combination too. They were here not too long ago. I've got a couple of the songs they did together, but to be honest I can't get past just the thought of them singing together.

If you're going to play in Texas, ya'd better have a fiddle in the band...
Great tune!

Alison Krauss -- I'm not sure any other female singer today has her versatility and range (pitches).

Alison Krauss is wonderful. I actually really like her album with Robert Plant as well.
My 2 favorite Alison Krauss songs are "Ghost in this House" and "Whiskey Lullaby" with Brad Paisley.

Salubrina....thanks for stopping by
I don't care for the crossroads of Krauss and Plant..it's like fingernails on a chalkboard
