The Roaring 20's

Anyone feel like reliving the 1920's? NOT ME! (h/t Z)

  1. I will gut the military under the auspices that our enemies will do the same. Then I, and my constituents, will be surprised when this strategy backfires. We will then respond forcefully by blaming ourselves. There is no defense against the self-attack, they'll never see it coming.

  4. During the 20's the west thought thay could eliminate war by destroying or limiting weapons which resulted in their inability to defeat evil men until they nearly ruled the world. Prepared, determined and committed are the ways to defeat evil.

  5. The international bankers fund both sides of every conflict, make a boatload off of death and misery, and dupe people into thinking that fighting and dying is doing something patriotic.
All sides should join against THEM!

  6. This is what happens when we've raised people who think "well, if WE have nukes, why shouldn't THEY (our enemies) have them?" and this is prevalent thinking, folks, among the young and, believe it or not, not so young.
Our media and left have so creamed any modicum of respect for our administration or our country's stances the last 10 years, that we're looked upon as the bad guys now. Some have purposefully obfuscated the reasons given for this war (partly because Bush has not had a PR person who can really TALK), blame us for everything..heck, we even deserved 9/11, unless you believe Bush did it, then...just as bad, no? Everywhere, here and everywhere else, we're the bad guys now.
We have no strength because the Left's undermined it. Don't forget, the only really viable and widely read English speaking paper in Europe is the International Herald Tribune...owned by the NY Times. That paper's doing us in EVERYWHERE.
I don't see us recovering from this way of thinking. If OBama gets in, we're probably done.
And, that's my happy little ditty for the evening. sorry.!

  10. i have a feeling we're ALL going to get a taste of the twenties regardless of WHO'S "elected". i feel a big fat case of socialism coming on. depending upon who's elected will just mean how quickly we'll go. people will be begging to be taken care of after this one.

read the bible - it's full of little gems about the nation that forgets about God (directed at everybody and nobody in party cooler).

i want to go to my mountain.
