On the Turnable - U2 -Kite
This song reminds me of how short a time I have left with my children. This one is for Pinky.

ElBro...this touches my heart so deeply. I'm nearly speechless.
So beautiful....life should be fragrant, rooftop to the basement.
So many memories...too much love for words. God is good.
Thank you. You have a HUGE heart behind that gas mask.
Your teary-eyed, mushy-gushy friend,
Pinky

EB, I hope you don't mind that I put a link to your post about Egypt in my most recent post. Eeeek! I should've asked before I did it.
I had been pondering this issue for awhile, then had a stirring discussion AT CHURCH on Sunday...then read your blog...so I hope it's alright.
Blessings to you.

Yes, fondly. We carried atomizers to beat the heat. A lesson we learned from the first one. I don't remember which day I went, but I do remember getting something in my eye that caused it to swell shut. As a result, I left early, missing David Bowie.
At US fest one I saw the Kinks, Carlos Santana, Joe Walsh, and some others I can't remember at the moment. There was a John Lennon art show on display in one of the tents. Mostly nude line drawings of the artist and Yoko. Music was a much better medium for him.
It was a lot of fun, but I don't think I ever go to another festive type concert of that proportion. I'm at the age now where I prefer smaller indoor venues with temperatures under 100 degree. I still like going out to see live music though.
