  9. Great job, EB! I actually heard some liberal say when asked why he likes Obama that, "He's a rock star."
 Why are leftists so stupid?

"Cult of Personality" should be the Obama theme song!

  10. I just read this quote

"I can't really verbalize exactly what it is about him," says Avila. "Part of it is just beyond explanation."

"He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere," George Clooney told talk show host Charlie Rose.

"I'll do whatever he says to do," actress Halle Berry said to the Philadelphia Daily News. "I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear."

WRIGHT: Politics doesn't even begin to describe it. A visit to an Obama rally is a pilgrimage.

It was more like church – not the stuffy kind, but roof-shaking soul church where people testify and dance in the aisles when the spirit's upon them.

"It's electric! Can't you feel it?" said one man, who told me he was headed for work at the IRS after the rally. I could feel it, because it's a fundamental element of crowd psychology that the expectation of "electricity" creates it. . . .

The main event, of course, was the speech, which I have heard before. I just sat back and felt the key phrases wash over the crowd: "new," "change," "Kennedy," "Scooter Libby justice," "wiretaps," "Katrina."

The lady sitting next to me dipped into a bucket of popcorn and murmured the phrases back: " 'If you believe.' 'The time is now.' That's right," she agreed.

She was a little disappointed, in fact, when the rally ended: "Why didn't he do, 'Yes we can'?" she asked a friend, as if a concert had ended, the biggest hit not performed.

Louis Farrakhan compared Obama to the religion's founder, Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father.

"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he told the crowd of mostly followers. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

"Obama has this almost irrational following and I myself can't sometimes explain why I'm supporting him," Noah Norman, 25, recently told the Washington Post.

"He's all things to all men. At least that's how I put it."

Brooke there's something eerily spiritual about all of this

  11. You read this stuff about Halle Berry and Clooney and you can't figure out what to say..at least I can't. It's NUTS.

A neighbor of an FPM acquaintance of mine told her she voted Obama yesterday. When my friend asked if she was for partial birth abortion and some other things Obama'd championed, she said "No....GEE! I didn't KNOW that....oh." OH??? When will they WAKE UP? Suddenly, people who think Jesus is a joke deify a 40 yr old guy whose biggest supporter is a "Chappaquidick Water Walker!"......this world gets stranger and stranger.....

  12. That was great EB! Perfect tune for Obama.

How about if someone comes up with the version of "Oh Darlin" from Abbey Road......to "Oh...bama"

    "Oh.....bama, if you leave me
    I'll never make it alone
Believe me when I tell you
I'll never do you no harm

I saw Living Color at Celebrity Theater in Phx just when that tune came out, they opened for Uncle Ted......Nugent. Great show.
