Many of the Shia are ready to stop the fighting that undermines their ability to forge and manage a new government. This is a complex and still delicate denouement, and the war may not be over yet. But the Muslims are saying it’s time to come home. And the Christians are saying it’s time to come home. They are weary, and there is much work to be done."

 

Even the Christians are coming back to Baghdad.

  1. I've noticed how much quieter the news has been about Iraq. Tells me things are better. Michael Yon is one of the few credible sources I've found. He's not all roses and sunshine, he's honest. A rare quality.

  7. I heard just in the last 5 minutes of loczl news that the sunni and shia are agreeing to work together even al sadar is working with....cause they fiqured out if they do the AMERICANS will leave...NOW THATS GOOD !!!!
