2. Sometimes I wonder about those that performed unbelievably heroic acts, but no one lived to tell the tale. I'm glad at least one of his SEAL team lived to let us know the truth.

4. The story of this hero has gleaned some coverage in the msm, even the WaPo. But not enough!
   
   America today needs heroes such as Murphy--in many ways.

7. this is the first i've been able to watch this (thanks to you) - i've seen a few interviews with his surviving team mate - i always get choked up over these events.
   
   full list of cmoh through 2005.
   
   two of my nephews from the same family are serving in the military right now - one being in the marine reserves. i hope they never have to be a hero to this extreme - my selfishness kicking in.
