Dude, that's a tough one. What would you set as a criteria or a measurable standard, or set of standards to determine that? Overall, me personally and just at a gut level, I'd say there is a certain degree of malaise and even worse in some areas. Reyond mailaise, a kind of fear about what's coming next for this nation.

I'd say there are two camps.

Democrats: Malaise.

Conservatives: Right track.

I think the DNC has invested heavily over the past six years in trying to convince the American public to accept the fact that their government is incompetent, that the war is lost, that the economy is terrible, and that the apocalypse of global warming is upon us.

Perhaps it's time to remind them once again that it's morning in America!

...it's not global warming...we cut down too much of forests..so the level of co2 is raising...it's simple as dat!!

...i thin america it's on the wrong track...fear will destroy your country...but there are youre own people dta u should be affraid...the saidest think is dat u will demand them to pull your rights and give more authority to police and the army...but watch out...u may turn into a police state, without even noticing it......and the level of co2 is rising, but not because of global warming.....3rd world countries sold too much of their wood and forrests are disapearing with the speed of light,,..some nations have their wood sold in advance for 20 years in future...less forrest more co2..it's obvius....who cares for national problems...what would we do to save our forrests, our planet is reaching out..
