1. This has got nothing to do with US attorney's and everything to do with bagging another Bush cabinet official like Gonzales (but more likely Karl Rove).
   
   It's election season and the DNC wants to keep the "mastermind" busily distracted w/hearings up on Capitol Hill.

10. I agree. This is nothing more than a political witch hunt, and antics like these are why the average American checks out of politics. By antics, I mean not Bush's decision to fire 9 folks, but rather the fact that this is being reported as some kind of unusual and disgraceful action. About the only thing newspapers are good for are starting fires and catching bird poop.
