it is my family who is wild. nanc is just a bump in their road of life. remind me to tell you sometime of the "event" nancpop was recently invited to.
well, it seems he and our son have been invited to a men's gathering and it's called "second saturdays". every second saturday of every month men of all faiths gather from miles around and have a speaker, breakfast and fellowship.
afterwards some go to this bigshots house and shoot pool. nancpop asked terry (that's what i'll call him because, hey, that's his name) if they served beer. terry responded, "the bigshot only drinks 'near beer'."
nancpop replied, "oh GREAT, near beer, near pool, near conversation, a near drive home, a nearly great time. no thanks." i asked him if he was going for the near miss effect! nancpop said, "you CANNOT play pool while drinking near beer! it just wouldn't be right..."
yeah, remind me to tell you THAT story sometime.
