  1. Do you think Kerry could actually interpret or would he "misconstrue that? Do you think Kerry has the balls to go over there and sit down face to face with those guys?

  2. Barry, are you kidding? There are no hairstylists over there, or at least ones with sufficient savvy to take care of his "boy toy" hair! And all that dust and sand...
As an AF brat, I know how whacky the humor can get with military types! Humor is also a sign of intelligence, I'm sure kerry knows this, so he's trying desperately to show some!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

  3. Hey, Elmer's Brother. Got to agree...Kerry's a dope.

You wrote a comment on my blog, where I said "We Don't Have to Fight Them There". You said the 9/11 families wouldn't agree that terrorists have no military capability. But they don't have military capability, they have terrorist capability. With your background you must know the difference.

Killing 10,000 terrorists in Iraq does nothing to stop 50 smart, hand-picked terrorists from trying to enter the U.S., where - if they got here - they would either be caught by FBI/other law enforcement or they would try to suicide attack like the 9/11 guys did.

The idea of terrorists actually "fighting" with us in this country is pretty far fetched, but it's a great slogan to create fear. And fear is what some people use to get elected when nothing else will work.

I could be accused of fearing Kerry as much as Bush. We've got to do much better than either one of these guys.

We may disagree, Elmer's Brother, but I will fight to the death to defend your right to express any opinion. I made that pledge a long time ago, and I still wear my invisible bars and jump wings.

  4. Frank thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your service and we owe you a debt.

My point wasn't that they had no military, the point was it doesn't matter whether they have an organized military. They are just as dangerous. Hope that helps.

  5. the TERRORISTS share an EXTREME IDEA of MURDER in the name of religion (convert or die) But the problem had been that they didnt have any particular country, city, or town that they could be confronted and enilated!! So with IRAQ as a focal point we have given them a place to come and DIE, remember this when one thinks of "FIGHT OVER THERE NOT HERE" !!!!!!!!!

  6. Great picture. John Kerry really put his foot in his mouth on this one. Just when he was getting out in front of the Democratic Party and positioning himself for 2008, he makes the mistake of opening his mouth.

  7. Agree with you 100%. These terrorists might develop the capability to hurt the U.S. much worse than they did on 9/11. But the tactics of the administration can be argued. Perhaps to fight terrorists most effectively, we need to get the populations where they lurk to support us rather than them, so they have no place to hide.

In my view, the administration's approach has done far too much to create support for the terrorists around the world, mostly by their use of blunt instruments rather than scalpels and their aggressive bravado. “Bring ‘em on” was about the dumbest statement I’ve ever heard, on par with Kerry’s stupid remark the other day. That comment was just what the bad guys wanted to hear – a challenge to their manhood and capabilities. Well, that challenge was a great recruiting tool and they have used it to the fullest.

Teddy Roosevelt was right – “Speak softly and carry a big stick”. We need to stop talking about a “War on Terror” and start talking about a worldwide intelligence and interdiction effort justified by the incredible damage a major terrorist attack would do to the world economy. Our army, navy, and air force can’t do this job, except for the highly trained people that you and I have worked with. We just need friends to point these “big stick” guys in the right direction, and we will win.

I agree with you in part. I think our guys are doing the job, it's just unreported. I hear from my friends over there and it is a different picture than what we hear here. Add to that the reluctance of the media to report anything good and the American people have nothing to digest but bad news.

The disagreement I have with you is that what we are experiencing in terrorism started long before the Iraq war. Something I believe our liberal friends either leave out or conveniently forget. If on the one hand Iraq was snubbing it's nose at the cease fire, shooting at our airplanes and harbored terrorists like Zarqawi (he was in Iraq in 2002) getting rid of Saddam seemed to be reasonable. (mass graves not withstanding) Along with that it seems compassionate to me to help the Irqqi people who have suffered long enough and it all seems rather reasonable to me. The question of how it is being carried off...well it seems reasonable to me to question that and you are entitled to your opinion. Have there been mistakes...sure. Have we emboldened the terrorists? The day we left Somalia...even Bin Laden said so.

  11. Kerry utterly destroyed whatever chance he may have had for '08, and I don't think he had much of one, anyway!

That photo is not only a nomination for pic of the year, it's a shoe-in!

We need to stop playing politics and do what it takes to put Iraq to bed; the threat from Iran is coming, and we need to be securely positioned for it!

It isn't just Kerry who's anti-military. He IS the face of the liberal-left in the democratic party.
