My last duty station I worked with Navy SEALS, EOD and Marine Force Recon. You'll never find a better bunch of men. Michael Monsoor is a great example of the type of fighting man we have in Iraq. His story is reminiscent of Sgt. Rafael Peraltas. (and here) Selfless, brave and like the good Book says "No greater love has any man than he lay down his life for a friend."

The military has stepped up the tactics used to "entice" information from those being held at Gitmo. It seems that feeding them three squares a day and being culturally sensitive has not yielded the desired intelligence results. Gen. J. Brolin suggested that it was time to get tough. You thought using psyops on Noriega was bad, wait till you see whose music they are playing. Hava Nagila.

This person is about as far gone as you can get. Besides a lack of courtesy and social skills admin4 tries to win over people with insults. It's working. We all think he/she could use a few lessons here.  Besides the lack of social skills the only thing that makes this person endearing is their chosen avatar. He/she claims to speak for God yet more than half of what admin4 says is epithets, ad hominem attacks and curse words. If this is the best the opposition can come up with I don't think the world has much to worry about. They usually rot away in obscurity.

The Dems are coming up with excuses in case they don't win as big or even lose this election. Chalk it up to everything from voter fraud, conspiracy theories, to Bush controlling oil prices. I think they're taking a tip from George Michael. Or if that doesn't work they could try coke.

Over at longrange a used storm door was offered up as the grand prize for being the 10,000 visitor. Supposedly nanc wasn't computer savvy enough to know she was going to be the 10,000 th visitor. Needless to say the fix was in when one of the teambloggers (I won't mention names *cough* nanc) won the door. I've got my lawyer Jackie Chiles on the case. He was so moved by the pictures that he is working pro bono. Usually in these matters family members and employees are exempt from winning. After Jackie saw pictures of my freezing children he knew we could win. Nanc and Warren have tried to bribe me with macadamia nutless trail mix and promises of turkey dinners. NO DEAL! See the picture, you're responsible for that nanc and Warren. Judge Judy is gonna have a field day with you guys.

My oldest child turns 20 today. Dang my wife's getting old.

The liberals have been searching high and low for a plan. Maybe Foleygate and the subsequent calls for Hasterts resignation may pan out. My guess is that the American people are smarter than that. I mean after all look where they keep finding their talking points.
