Osama bin Laden and 72 (She-Male) Virgins
Froggy's back and he's on a roll. Here is a snippet:
That’s right, based on recent exegesis of ancient Arabic manuscripts, some scholars are claiming that the Koran promises not just any old virgins, but 72 She-Male virgins, the big gnarly kind with man hands, five o’clock shadows and hairy bellies.
All the knuckleheads say they don’t hate America, they just hate President Bush. Wait a minute folks; President Bush is America, my America, an expression of American will. If they were to get rid of him, would they beat America? I think not. Will killing the Pope stop Catholicism? Nope. Neither will killing bin Laden stop the grumpy Muslims just frothing at the bit for their own little perverted den of paradise.

I guess I'm a knuclehead - cos I love America, greatest country in the history of earth - But Bush? Dude. What is it exactly that inspires you about him? His rags to riches story? His draft dodging? His C grade average when he was a member of Skull & Bones at Yale? His DWI's? His alleged coke snorting? His lying us into war? His shredding of the constitution? His great speech making? The way he bounced back from the pretzel choking?
I think you're just pissed because the Steelers suck this year.

You're selling more propaganda than he is - at least his views are his own. You're pretending that he speaks for millions - didn't you accuse me of broad brushing all antiwar people as "leftists" just the other day???

You will find more parallels to Nazi Germany (if you study history) and radical Islam.
However, after over 700 years of peaceful coexistence, the true start of the Arab-Israeli conflict can be dated to 1920 and the rise of one man, Haj Amin Muhammad Al Husseini, the grand mufti of Jerusalem. As grand mufti, al Husseini presided as the Imam of the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, the highest Muslim authority in the British mandate.
History shows Al Husseini to be a brutal man with aspirations to rule a pan-Arabic empire in the Middle East. He rose to prominence by actively eliminating those Jews and Arabs he considered a threat to his control of Jerusalem's Arab population, and he heavily utilized anti-Jewish propaganda to polarize the two communities.
In 1920 and again in 1929, Al Husseini incited anti-Jewish riots by claiming the Jews were plotting to destroy the Al Asqa mosque. The riots resulted in the massacre of hundreds of Jewish civilians and a virtual end to the Jewish presence in Hebron.
The 1936 Arab revolt against the British is believed to have been at least partially funded by Nazi Adolf Eichmann, and Al Husseini again ordered armed Arab militias to massacre Jewish citizens.
When British authorities finally quelled the rebellion in 1939, Al Husseini fled to neighboring Iraq and helped to orchestrate a 1941 anti-British jihad. As in Jerusalem, the British successfully put down the rebellion and Al Husseini fled to Nazi Germany.
Al Husseini found the Nazis to be a strong ideological match with his anti-Jewish brand of Islam, and schemed with Hitler and the Nazi hierarchy to create a pro-Nazi pan-Arabic form of government in the Middle East.
The Grand Mufti went on to raise an Army for Hitler in what is now Yugoslavia made up of European Muslims. In March 1944, Al Husseini broadcast a call for a jihad to "kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history, and religion."
There are parallels such as these:
1. anti-Semitism
2. quest for world dominance
3. demand for the total subordination of the free will of the individual
4. belief in the abolishment of the nation-state in favor of a "higher" community (in Islam the umma or community of all believers; in Nazism, the herrenvolk or master race)
5. belief in undemocratic governance by a "divine" leader (an Islamic caliph, or Nazi führer).
For a better understanding I suggest watching the movie "Obsession".

Forget the freudian
WRT neocons and nazis - the list of similarities end after #1- both political ideologies
National SOCIALIST Party (nazi) gained power by confiscating all things private and nationalizing them.
These neocons that you hate advocate school choice through vouchers, privatization of social security, laissez faire economic policy, etc. My gosh, their bumbling leader even {gasp} gave us our own money back with tax reform.
Leftist political ideologies are closer to Nazism - confiscation of private property/business (Chavez in Venezuela, Allende in Chile, etc.) In our own country, the left wants government intervention into parenting (for example: abortions for minors without parental notification), religion, schooling, you name it. In Australia they've even banned those free Gideon Bibles from hospitals (remember book-burning?).
On domestic policy issues, neocons and nazis couldn't be further apart. Clearly, the idea that there are similarities arises from the belief that the USA is imperialistic rather than a liberating force for democracy. If that is so, then why don't we rule Japan? Germany? Why aren't we recapturing Cuba? How about Canada - I mean, they're right there - drinking bad beer and watching hockey... can you say Canadian Bacon?
The comparison doesn't hold up on even the most minute levels.

Although I don't always agree with President Bush, he isn't the enemy... The Islamofacists are! The sooner we push back the Moorish invasion, the better off our country will be.

Sometimes when I listen to George Bush as he speaks and answers questions, I'm amazed that he was able to graduate from Yale. He sometimes struggles to get across the simplest of points but what I like about him is that he has a vision for America that's positive and strong. I believe that he has unwavering belief in that vision. We've no doubt had smarter presidents but I believe in him and his vision.

dugg...I thought it was his grandmother on his mother's side. Which would still make him a Jew since lineage is through the mother. Not that it makes any difference.

A B.S. (don't go there) from Yale and MBA from HArvard, not bad. Of course there were smarter President's, but as I've said before, the position found the man, not the man finding the position..a la John Kerry, Al Gore, Bill Clinton who spent their whole life striving to become President. The right man for the job is there now, let's just hope the next one can come in, clean it up, and finish the job.
