Fatwa - NYT (2nd) and LA Times

@ 02:00 AM (41 months, 14 days ago)

Valerie Plame outing blah blah blah breaking her undercover status blah blah blah....(no national security issue there)....financial records....blah blah blah....publics right to know...blah blah blah....give the terrorists a leg up..

F'in Dhimmi's.

"I inform the proud dhimmi people of the world that writers and editors of the NYT and LA Times and all involved in its traitorous revelations, who subscribe to this rag and its general unAmerican activity, are sentenced to a life of appeasement, yellow bellied, red burka wearing dhimmitude."

That's all I gotta say 'bout that.

Signed the Grand Mufti Ayatollah So EB

As always all dhimmis are encouraged to issue their own fatwas.

  1. Forthwith all of the proud Dhimmi peoples of the world shall blather endlessly, parroting without question whatever appears printed in the holy dhimmi newsletter that is the Times.

  3. might as well be eh Nanc

Brooke - have you been reading Progressive Minds again?

  4. Neither the NY or LA Times are worthy to line a bird cage, a litter box or be used to paper train a puppy. Perhaps if nothing else was available, MAYBE it could be used to wrap a rotten fish prior to trashing it.

  5. The Washington Post jumped on board too. All these traitors jockeying for a Pulitzer, or what?

See the perfect graphic about these newspapers HERE.

  6. Remember when Sherman rolled through the South and burned down newspaper offices he considered opposed to the Union? Somebody should remind the NYT that there's historical precedent for such behavior...

  7. cate - bwahahahaha we've missed you.

It's about SELLING newspapers isn't AoW.

  8. Wouldn't be magical if meteors struck the NY and LA Times and Air America simultaneously?

    Comment by Barry G.— 2006/06/29 @ 03:09 PM — (Reply)

  9. Barry, let's pray for a miracle.

Comment by Elmers Brother— 2006/06/29 @ 04:22 PM — (Reply)

  10. Actually we don't need a miracle EB, although it would be fun. New technology is leaving those losers in the dust like cattle skeletons in a desert.

    Comment by Barry G.— 2006/06/29 @ 05:26 PM — (Reply)

  11. You're right about technology's leaving behind many of the large dailies. We've alos lost most of the small dailies here in the D.C. area.

No longer do the various retail outlets sell out of daily newspapers, as was once the case in this area. Interestingly enough, the Washington Times moves more rapidly from the shelves of the local 7-11 than the liberal Washington Post.

As a dinosaur, I find it hard to substitute the Internet for the feel of that daily newspaper--particularly with regard to working the crossword puzzle. However, I find myself spending far more time reading the blogs online than combing through the newspaper.

  12. EB,

Boycotts are starting!!! Check out Michelle Malkin.

I lived in LA for 3 years 1997-2000, I only made it through 1 subscription cycle of the LA Times, what a piece of crap that is.

  14. EB: Read my comment again, this time dripping with sarcasm and derision!

I really hope the Times goes out of business, or at least is recognized for the tabloid that it is!

  15. This is just another example of Bushco. trying to intimidate those who go against them - Burn the place down for daring to give an opposing view? How American.

    Comment by Dugg— 2006/06/30 @ 08:00 AM — (Reply)

  16. The 'burning' reference was a joke, Dugg. Take a deep breath, buddy... (And very American since it was carried out by union troops during the Civil War, if you want to get technical)

And BTW, the NYT did not offer an alternative view. This wasn't an op-ed piece they published. It was information that directly affected national security interests and informed national enemies of plans and procedures. That's called TREASON.

Just because the NYT hates Bush and opposes his policies doesn't give them license to undermine an ongoing investigation into terrorist entities. I know you think you're fighting for a greater good, Dugg, and you are entitled to think and feel that but to dismiss the wrongfulness of the NYT's act discredits your position. You want to point the finger at the administration but won't acknowledge wrongdoing among those who share your opinion - it reduces your whole argument to partisan politics. You are better than that.

  21. It figures. The Times isn't even good for THAT.:???:

  22. Face facts Dugg....newspapers are dinosaurs...OR is it a CONSPIRACY?

    Comment by Barry G.— 2006/06/30 @ 02:23 PM — (Reply)

  23. I don't mean to sound like I'm defending any paper - or being insulted by your joke - just found it ironic after reading the article I linked to.

  26. His laptop is broken - he should be back in a day or two.

    Comment by Dugg— 2006/06/30 @ 05:24 PM — (Reply)

  27. You won't lend him yours or Mrs. Dugg's or send him to a library or electronics store to use a pc there? Mos's material is getting stale. Is he on a bender?

    Comment by Barry G.— 2006/06/30 @ 06:03 PM — (Reply)

  28. At least you don't think he's my alter ego anymore. Speaking of alter ego's - did you catch my post on Goldwater being a ufo nut? I thought you might like that one.

    Comment by Dugg— 2006/07/01 @ 03:33 AM — (Reply)

  29. I'm not so sure Dugg. Mos has been gone a long time and you're still here. I wonder what would happen if Mos returned and you disappeared?

  30. "Bank Data Is Sifted by U.S. in Secret to Block Terror" - New York Times headline

"But the program isn't secret, what's the big deal?" - New York Times editors explaining that they aren't journalists and they don't actually work for a newspaper.
