Pot, Meet Kettle
from Opinion Journal
The Associated Press reports from Juarez City, Mexico, just across the border from El Paso, Texas, on Mexican reaction to the president's immigration speech. This bit is priceless:
In a migrant shelter in Ciudad Juarez, a group of 10 Central Mexicans and Central Americans watched a soap opera while Bush's speech was broadcast live on the other channel.
"People here have more important things to do then watch Bush," said Carlos Amado Luarca, a Dominican monk who works in the shelter. "This plan to send soldiers is one more sign of the decadence of the American empire."
Hmm, Mexicans and Central Americans are fleeing their countries in droves for America, and we're the ones who are decadent?

Uh-huh. I suppose that the Mexican government, any official of which can be bought and paid for (and usually demand to be) isn't decadant. Mexico, that truly has no middle class, isn't decadent at all...riiight.
I noticed that the border town had a bunch of Central Americans. Why don't we ask them how the Mexican people treated them as they're violating our border...

I guess Dominican monks don't get out very often so we should excuse his total lack of knowledge.

Mexico's definition of discrimination is repulsive. The police down there pull over any car and rob the occupants if they are from Southern Mexican states and look "indian". Migrants coming through the country to reach America are also treated like scum and "bribed" clean. Did I forget to mention the Mexican army has MILITARIZED it's border and shoots any wary Guatemalan or Nicaraguan trying to enter it's southern border?
This is hypocrisy in it's most extreme form.
How dare they tell us what we can or can't do!!

These illegal invaders are coming here to take down the "American empire." Many have so stated.
