Hard to believe that the UN would lie. I've always considered the UN to be the most trusted honest organization on the planet. By the way...I have a bridge I want to sell you.
Someone please explain why America pays most of the bills for this anti-American forum. We ought to use the UN building as a homeless shelter here in New York. At least we would get rid of a bunch of worthless American hating diplomats who won't pay their parking tickets.

Kofi Annan is so corrupt that I cannot understand why the UN has any credibility whatsoever.
A few years ago, my debate class had the following resolution to discuss:
Resolved: That the United Nations should be abolished.
At that time, we didn't have the information available today. I won't be using the topic now because the win for the Affirmatives would be a near guarantee.
American Crusader's comment is on target. Why should real estate in NYC be wasted on something as worthless as the UN?

Shortly after 9/11, I ranted for a few days about running all the bastards out of the UN building and using the facility to house families of victims of the attacks. My rant was the result of my having read that a few families had come upon very hard times as a result of losing a bread-winner on 9/11.
The UN ignores or covers up terrorist acts. They should be out of here!

"We ought to use the UN building as a homeless shelter here in New York"
I think it is not legally possible as it is now legally NOT on American soil (unfortunatelly).

The death-knell has been sounding for a long time. Unfortunately, the death rattles will take a lot of innocents with it.
My God, just look at the make-up of the "Security Council" over the last decade!!! And shudder!Or laugh.
