Elmer's Brother

We can certainly relate to Cindy Sheehan, to her grief and her anger and sadness. I have friends who are in Iraq on their third tour. They are putting their lives on the line every day. Her son served honorably and gave sacrificially. I have seen a lot of posts and the news is full here in the states about this and what she is doing. Her own family however has (see Drudge Report) asked her to stop pushing her political agenda and let them grieve in peace. Here is a site that will also interest you about this subject and another that describes some of the tactics those groups who are supporting her have stooped to...including supporting terrorists and raiding recruiting offices.

What's even sadder is that the left is exploiting her grief to push their political agenda. They haven't gotten over losing two elections and rather than moving along they have made this poor woman even more pitiful.

For that reason, I believe that his mother’s very public effort to steal his honor is one of the most despicable acts that can be perpetrated by a family member of the fallen. Nothing would bring me greater shame than to know that my own mother was using the willful sacrifice of my very life as an opportunity to garner public attention for the belief that my life was wasted. I am utterly disgusted by a woman, her loss notwithstanding that would allow her son’s enemies and those of the Nation he died to defend to profit from his death. Her self centered actions have created what amounts to a pack of hungry hyenas fighting over the corpse of her fallen son. The honor and respect that Casey is entitled to is being torn apart by the likes of Moveon.org, Michael Moore, Code Pink, the Kossacks, and the MSM anti-war establishment for the whole world to see.
